Various processes have been yet considered to study the effect of Lorentz-violating terms and different limits have been determined for the magnitude of Lorentz violation coefficients. In this work, we study the effect of Lorentz-violating terms on B-meson production through pair annihilation () in two distinct cases correspondent to axial and vectorial nonminimal couplings in QED and determine the corresponding Lorentz violation coefficients. In both cases, significant modifications are seen with respect to the usual relativistic result. Our analytical results for partonic differential cross section, i.e., , reveal an anisotropy which implies new constraints on the possible Lorentz-violating terms.
