We consider a special limit of the BFKL eigenvalue at and odd values of the conformal spin n. We show that in this limit the NLO BFKL eigenvalue can be expressed in terms of a limited set of transcendental constants with rational coefficients. We show that the leading transcendentality term in this limit is universal and does not depend on a specific value of n.
