Abstract
Scalar leptons,
charginos and neutralinos, predicted by supersymmetric
theories, have been searched for in data samples collected with the L3 detector
at centre-of-mass energies of 161GeV and 172GeV with integrated luminosities
of 10.7 pb-1 and 10.0 pb-1 respectively.
No evidence for such particles is found.
New limits on production cross sections are set, assuming R-parity
conservation.
New exclusion contours in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model parameter
space as well as new lower limits on masses are derived.
